These are my favorite things that the Sweets is saying right now:
I you
Instead of "I Love You". The love is implied. And in place of "I love you, daddy", it's I Daddy.
Once every so often, she'll stroll on over, wrap her arm around my neck, put her cheek against mine, rattle off a few I Yous, and walk away. That's when the universe makes the most sense.
Pasis
Her pacifier. Pronounced "Pah-SEEs", like Creme de' Casis. The cuteness factor is off the charts when she says this, which is probably why we tolerate it's usage more than we should.
Usually in the form of a question: Pasis? is short for "Wait..I have a great idea! let's go get my pacifier! Good plan, right?"
Boobies
Blueberries...or blackberries.
Ahhhhhhh..chooo!
Reading Stand Back! Said the Elephant; I'm Going to Sneeze has fostered a deep appreciation for the art of the sneeze. It's high comedy in our household.
SIT DOWN!
Usually a directive to sit down. It can also mean "back away" or "step off". MJ likes everyone to sit together when we eat. As soon as one of us sits down, everyone else in the room is told to take a seat as well. There is little room for negotiation here. When I try to take away the Pasis - "Sit down Daddy!...SIT.....DOWN!" Step away from the Pasis.
Sit Down, Mommy!
